HI!

I'm Valentine (she/they), a somatic sexologist, trauma-informed educator, and intimacy coordinator dedicated to helping you embark on your pleasure journey. With a blend of somatic practices and sexology, I guide individuals and couples towards a more fulfilling and pleasure-centric sexual experience. Let's break free from societal constraints and reclaim our birthright to pleasure and connection.

My approach is client-led, creative, holistic, trauma-informed, inclusive (of all humans, work, sexual preferences…) and gender/sexuality affirming. I am passionate about supporting the reclamation of your erotic power and sexual liberation through a no-taboo, shame-free and pleasure-centred education. My work is anchored in intersectional feminism, sex-positivity, queer theories, nervous system work, embodied consent and creating safer spaces.

YOU MIGHT BE WONDERING…

WHAT IS SOMATIC SEXOLOGY?

Somatic sexology is the meeting of somatics (focusing awareness on the body) with sexology (the scientific study of human sexuality) to create space for unique pleasure definition, exploration and expansion.

Somatic sexology develops ‘embodiment’, which is deeper presence, understanding and connection with your body, erotic energy, sexual self, and relationships.

Embodiment teaches us to be in the here and now, instead of following the mind’s ‘should’ and the societal conditioning dictating our sex lives. It releases body-mind restrictions that inhibit pleasure, and allows space for experimentation, choice and play.

Somatic sex coaching will support you to learn playfulness, experience more pleasure, reduce anxiety, regulate your nervous system, develop deep relationships with yourself and your partners, and harness your capacity for mind-blowing sex and relating.

WHAT BRINGS YOU HERE?

Each pleasure journey is unique and wonderful. But at some points you might be feeling stuck or wanting some support for your pleasure exploration.

Do any of these resonate?

  • You feel like there should be more to the sex you’re having

  • You feel too in your head. Stress, anxiety or trauma are getting in the way of your pleasure

  • You feel disconnected to your body and your own pleasure

  • Your body-image is affecting your self-confidence

Whatever is on your mind and brought you here should not stay in the way of your pleasure seeking adventure!

Somatic sexology is an educational modality that will give you new skills and techniques to enhance your erotic life. By practising them, you will be able to create new pathways to pleasure.

A little bit more about me and my approach

MY QUALIFICATIONS

I am committed to my professional development to be a well-rounded practitioner and regularly complete new workshops and courses as well as receive regular supervision.

I am a professional member of The Association of Somatic & Integrative Sexologists and I abide by the code of ethics outlined by the Association.

I'm a feminist activist, social designer, performer, artist and a somatic sexologist. All of these experiences feed into creating sessions that allow us to explore our pleasure!

I've created Collective of Pleasure out of my own realisation of the lack of spaces and resources to talk about sexuality for marginalised groups and the many stigmas that still surround it.

Pleasure and sex have always been fascinating to me —why we have it, how we have it, why is it shrouded in taboo and what we can do to have more of it. I fully believe that amazing, fulfilling sex—whether with yourself or others—can be life-changing because our erotic energy is intrinsically tied to our life force. I am deeply committed to providing healthy education and representation of pleasure and sexuality, challenging outdated and harmful ideologies that have shamed and disempowered people for far too long. Pleasure is not a luxury, nor a reward; it is our birthright. It is our right to feel free, joyful, connected, and fully alive.

As an artist and activist, I am driven by a passion for breaking taboos, making the private public, and fighting against inequalities and injustices. I’m questioning established norms surrounding gender, identity, sexuality and relational dynamics. My performance art pieces explore themes of femininity, sensuality, societal conditioning and expectations, and sexuality through a feminist and embodied lens.

Outside of this job, I work in innovation, pushing companies to think differently and act better. Studying Social Design and Sustainability, have taught me to push the boundaries of conventional thinking and continuously aim to be a change-maker. My experience facilitating workshops that challenge participants to embrace "business as unusual" has empowered teams to unlock their creativity and explore new ways of thinking. The way I approach sex education continues to apply the same principles of creative and critical questioning that have been foundational to my journey.
